Neart Nūr
We strive for a world where children and families displaced by crisis discover their inherent resilience, heal through play, and rebuild their futures empowered by light from within.
Safe Space Playhubs
Environments where children can engage in expressive, non-directive play therapy, facilitated by trained specialists. These hubs are oases of safety, predictability, and joy.
Community Led Psychosocial Programs
We will train local evacuees as play facilitators, fostering agency, providing livelihoods, and ensuring cultural and linguistic resonance in all our interventions.
Caregiver Support & Empowerment Circles
Recognising that a supported caregiver is a child's greatest resource, we provide group sessions and skill-building workshops for parents and guardians, focusing on their own psychosocial well-being and nurturing techniques.
Advocacy & Awareness
We champion the critical importance of mental wellbeing and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in humanitarian response, giving voice to the needs and strengths of displaced communities.
About Neart Nūr
Our Mission
Neart Nūr provides culturally sensitive, trauma-informed play therapy and psychosocial support to displaced and medical evacuees, children and their caregivers. We create safe spaces for healing, empower individuals and communities through participatory programs, and nurture the inner strength that guides recovery.
Our Core Philosophy
We believe that healing is not a return to a previous state, but the courageous building of a new foundation. Combining the Irish concept of Neart - inner fortitude and enduring power, with the Arabic Nūr - the illuminating, hope-giving light. Our approach recognises that true empowerment is both a resilient core and an enlightened path forward.
Our Values
- Resilience as Strength (Neart): We foster the innate capacity to heal, adapt, and grow.
- Enlightenment as Guidance (Nūr): We believe in the light of understanding, hope, and shared humanity.
- Dignity in Action: All our programs are built on respect for the culture, faith, and autonomy of those we serve.
- Community as Foundation: We work with, not just for, the community. Empowerment is participatory.
- Play as a Universal Language: We uphold play as a fundamental right and a critical pathway to processing trauma and rebuilding a sense of self.

Our Pilot Mission 2025
The Resilience Project
Partner with Us | Build a Circle of Resilience
Healing from trauma requires a community of care. Whether you represent a business, foundation, educational institution, or community group, your partnership enables us to expand our reach and deepen our impact for children from Gaza now rebuilding their lives in Jordan. Together, we can transform compassion into consistent support—funding therapeutic outings, trauma-informed care, and essential material aid. Join us in creating a lasting framework of hope where every contribution becomes part of a larger story of recovery and resilience.
We witnessed children who had forgotten how to play, teens who felt invisible, and parents who had lost hope. But we also saw transformative moments: a blind girl smiling at a modified phone, a bedridden boy gaming with a new console, children singing on a bus after a sports day.
We request your partnership to fund Neart Nūr Resilience Project and ensure that the promise we made becomes a sustained reality of care, dignity, and hope.
