Abdulrahmen's Story

A Lifetime of Denial

A Lifetime of Denial. A €75,000 Price Tag. A 16-Year-Old's Future.

Abdulrahmen was denied medical treatment for over a decade by the occupation. He survived the genocide in Gaza, only to be told by surgeons that his condition was "too complex."

His father refused to give up. He found a private surgeon. He found a way. But the three-stage operation costs €75,000, and the clock is ticking.

This is life changing. This is a teenager who has missed out on everything - school, friends, walking, living - finally getting a chance to be a kid.

We have the surgeon. We have the plan. We just need the funds.

Help us rewrite Abdulrahmen's story.

A Decade of Denial
A €75,000 Lifeline.
A 16-Year-Old Who Refuses to Fade Away.

Abdulrahmen survived the bombs. He survived the siege. But the system that was supposed to heal him turned its back.

For over a decade, Abdulrahmen was denied the medical care he desperately needed. He grew up in the shadows of Gaza, watching his face change in ways he didn't understand, his words becoming harder to form, his world shrinking with every passing year. He survived a genocide, only to be told by surgeons that his case was "too complex." Too difficult. Too much.

But his father, a man who has already lost so much, refused to let his son be written off.

He found a private surgeon. He found a path forward. Now, we need to find the funds to walk it.

Abdulrahmen is 16 years old. He has never known what it feels like to speak without struggle, to smile without self-consciousness, or to look in the mirror and see the person he truly is inside. He has missed out on the things that define childhood, school, friendships, laughter, and the simple, carefree joy of being a teenager.

Here is the truth we cannot hide from: If we do not raise these funds, Abdulrahmen will go back to Gaza. Without treatment. Without hope. Without a second chance. The doors that have finally opened for him will slam shut, and his father will have to watch his son's future disappear again.

We cannot let that happen. Not after everything he has survived!

This is the moment that changes everything.

The operation is complex. It requires three stages under general anaesthetic, involving multidisciplinary specialty teams. It will rebuild the left side of his face, repair his palate so he can finally speak clearly, and give him the chance to live without pain or shame.

We have the surgeon. We have the operating table booked. We have a plan that will save his future.

What we don't have is the €75,000 to make it happen. And the clock is ticking.

Every day that passes is another day Abdulrahmen spends waiting. Another day of isolation. Another day of a childhood slipping away.

This isn't just about surgery. It's about giving a child back his life.

It’s about a father who refused to give up, and a son who deserves to finally, fully, live.

Please, don't look away. Don't let Abdulrahmen’s story end here.

Medical Background:
Abdulrahmen suffers from Craniofacial Synostosis and Hemifacial Microsomia. His reconstruction requires:
• VPI Repair: Constructing a posterior pharyngeal flap to restore his ability to speak clearly.
• Craniofacial Construction: Rebuilding the left orbital and nasal structures using Medpor implants.
• Extensive Orthodontic Work: To align his bite and facial symmetry.

These are not cosmetic procedures. They are essential, life-altering surgeries. They are the key to unlocking a future Abdulrahmen has been denied his entire life and the only thing standing between him and being sent back to Gaza without treatment.
